When your labs look “normal” but your body still feels off, you deserve more than another generic plan. We look at the whole picture — your food, stress, sleep, symptoms, lifestyle, history, and labs — to guide you toward realistic changes that support long-term health.
- Lynn, 72 years old
The conventional system is designed to treat disease, not prevent it. If you've been told your labs are "normal" while you're still exhausted, inflamed, and struggling — the problem isn't you. It's the approach.
Your labs come back "normal" — but you feel anything but
Doctors haven't found the deeper imbalances driving your symptoms.
Fatigue that doesn't go away no matter how much you sleep
Hormone imbalances and gut dysfunction often go undetected in standard testing.
Chronic bloating, inflammation, brain fog, or weight that won't budge
These aren't character flaws. They're signals your body needs root-cause support.
You've tried diets, supplements, and advice — nothing sticks
Generic plans don't work. Your body is unique and your plan should be too.

Most health approaches ask "what's wrong?" We ask "why is this happening?" That single shift changes everything.

If fatigue, inflammation, gut issues, hormone imbalance, or lingering symptoms are holding you back, you are not alone.
At the Institute of Empowered Health, we help proactive adults uncover root causes and create a personalized nutrition and lifestyle plan for lasting wellness, more energy, and a healthier future.

The first step is to join one of our online workshops, where you’ll learn more about our approach and who we help best. If it feels like a fit, we’ll invite you to a brief discovery call and, when appropriate, a paid evaluation to map out the right program and investment for your goals.
We have a step-by-step process to begin your health and wellness journey. Begin by watching our online workshop and book a discovery call. This allows you to learn more about my approach and if the complete wellness evaluation is the best next step for you.
Your complete wellness evaluation allows me to really understand you, your unique story, your health concerns, what you've tried in the past, and what you feel has been missing to achieve your goals.
We offer both virtual and in-person care. Being able to expand our reach and support more people in their healing journey through both formats is a true gift. This flexibility allows us to provide personalized, high-touch care in a way that is accessible, practical, and designed to meet clients where they are.
This program is best suited for proactive individuals who are ready to take an active role in their health and value a personalized, root-cause approach. Many of our clients come to us struggling with fatigue, gut issues, inflammation, blood sugar imbalances, weight challenges, hormone-related symptoms, and other chronic concerns — and they want more than a temporary fix.
The best fit is someone who is open, coachable, and willing to commit to meaningful, lasting change. They understand that true healing takes time and that lasting results require consistency, personal responsibility, and a genuine commitment to a healthier way of living.
Yes — helping children is something I care deeply about.
As someone who struggled with a wide range of chronic health issues from infancy, I know firsthand how deeply a child’s health can affect every part of life. When kids do not feel well, it does not just show up physically. It can affect their confidence, mood, focus, behavior, energy, sleep, social life, and overall sense of well-being. A child who is dealing with ongoing symptoms may feel frustrated, embarrassed, discouraged, different from others, or like they just cannot fully be themselves.
That is one of the reasons I am so passionate about this work.
At the same time, meaningful and lasting change rarely happens by focusing on the child alone. The greatest progress happens when we work with parents and support the family as a whole. When the home environment begins to change, it creates a ripple effect that can positively impact not just one child, but the entire family for generations to come.
What we are seeing today is heartbreaking: more and more children and teens are struggling with concerns like ADHD, autism, behavioral and mental health challenges, hormone imbalances, PCOS, gut dysfunction, autoimmune conditions, type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol, and other chronic issues at younger and younger ages.
Without support, these challenges can grow into greater physical, emotional, and long-term health burdens. The good news is that there is hope.
With the right guidance, education, support, and family involvement, children can make incredible progress. Our goal is to help create a healthier foundation for the whole family — one that supports better energy, better moods, better habits, greater confidence, and a healthier future together.
And yes — despite what it may seem like some days, kids really can move beyond picky eating too!
We are an out-of-network practice and do not bill insurance directly. We do accept HSA and FSA cards, and we can provide a superbill upon request for possible reimbursement.
We’ve chosen this model so we can focus on delivering the personalized, high-touch, root-cause care our clients need, rather than being limited by insurance rules and restrictions. This allows us to offer more individualized guidance, education, strategy, and support to help you make meaningful, lasting progress.
We’re committed to making high-level care more accessible. We offer pay-in-full savings, preferred pricing for teachers, medical staff, military service members, and first responders, as well as flexible financing options through in-house payment arrangements and Advance Care Card.
Results are highly individual, because every person’s history, symptoms, and healing timeline are different. That said, when clients are consistent and committed to the process, we often see meaningful improvements across many areas of health.
Clients commonly report progress with energy, weight, digestion, bloating, acid reflux, IBS symptoms, chronic pain, inflammation, skin concerns, brain fog, mood, confidence, motivation, and overall quality of life. We also often see improvement in important lab markers such as A1C, triglycerides, LDL, blood pressure, and thyroid-related markers. In some cases, clients are able to reduce medications in collaboration with their physician as their health improves.
While outcomes vary, we often see significant progress in a relatively short period of time. On average, we may see A1C improve by as much as 3 points in 3 months and women lose an average of 20 pounds in 3 months, depending on the individual, their starting point, and their level of follow-through.
We do not make promises or guarantee specific results, but this is the kind of transformation we see time and time again when people stay committed to the healing process.
You don’t have to keep struggling through fatigue, frustration, and unanswered health concerns on your own. We’re here to help you uncover the root causes, create a personalized plan, and support you every step of the way.
